A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of delivering a bushcraft and survival day at Goudhurst and Kilndown CoE Primary School, we liaised with Year 2 teacher Penny Stanford and designed and delivered a series of bushcraft, survival, outdoor and nature based learning activities to help enhance elements of National Curriculum Key Stage 1 Geography unit for six and seven year olds called "An island home".

A very recent series of events saw Phil packing the Badger Bushcraft Land Rover Defender 110 with kit and travelling down to Saltwood near Hythe to Saltwood Church of England Primary School to deliver four half day sessions to some 222 pupils based on the topic of “Adventures and Adventurous Activities”.

We were recently delighted to have been invited to design a programme of activities and outdoor workshops Milstead and Frinsted CoE Primary which were to be delivered with kind permission of a local landowner in a glorious area of coppiced chestnut and surrounding established woodland.

The Badger Bushcraft team were delighted to recently support the Learning Plus Expo where we had a trade stand providing teachers and those associated with schools and education the opportunity to discuss how we can support their school both in their outdoor educational and classroom based needs.

It was with great pleasure that Phil presented a short lecture to Staplehurst Women’s Institute, despite being warned by a good friend not to mention horticulture, baking and jam making it seems Phil’s presentation was well received.

We have recently secured exclusive access to a forested location and yesterday saw the start of work to create a teaching area at the new Badger Bushcraft site based in stunning piece of private woodland in the Tenterden area of Kent.
